The IVARED project examines effective practices for English Language Learners (ELLs) with disabilities that lead to valid assessment results for these students. IVARED involves a partnership with five states: Arizona, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, and Washington. These modules are products of the IVARED project.
The goal of these modules is to:
"Help educators make good assessment decisions for ELLs with disabilities."
In order to make good decisions, educators need to ask the right questions. Asking the right questions about participation, accommodations, and/or reporting will promote valid assessment results for this population of students.
